This number called my landlord claiming to be a from a government agency and they were looking for me. They called once and left a message with the name Michelle Collinson and told him it was very important. Then they called at 10pm and spoke with my landlord and said that they were in our parking lot waiting for him to talk with me. Thank GOD he said he couldn't give them any information if they didn't properly identify themselves with which "agency" they were with. We called the police immediately afterwards and asked if they knew of anyone looking for me and if the had anyone employed under that name and they said no. I'm creeped out. I called the number but it was turned off. Could this be someone stealing my mail? or wanting to scam me?

Scammers spoof numbers from that area code, so the one who called you is a scammer. Block that number, and report it to the FTC and FCC. www.ftc.gov and www.fcc.gov.
If they were looking for you for any legit reason, wouldn't they have your phone number? Besides, isn't 10 pm a little late for anyone to be looking for someone?! Sounds like another bunch of scammers!!
