I received a call from this company firmly saying they've tried repeatedly to notify me about a credit card payment (I have not had a credit card in more than three years). Then the automated message said that they could help me to consolidate my credit cards to a 6% interest rate if I press #1. I pressed #1 because I was going to remind them that my number is on the Do Not Call list, but pressing #1 cut me off. Then, I called the number and received a message thanking me for returning the call and it said to press #1 if I wanted to be removed from their caller list. This time, I did not press anything. I fear that the initial pressing of the #1 might be giving them access to something I don't want them to have.
