They keep calling...robo style...message says they are going to cancel our credit card or something to that effect and we know it's a scam since we have sterling credit?! We are on DNC list, but it doesn't seem to keep these creeps away.
Repeated calls saying can reduce credit card interst (not true as I don't use cc) Every call says " this is your last chance to take advantage" I wish!
When I answer, the only choice is "live operator"; no choice to opt out of calls.
When I go to 'live operator' and ask company, they usually hang up.
When I say I do not want to receive calls, they usuall hang up. Today someone called "Gary" responded
"Well, so what"
I said it's a violation of Do not call laws.
These flipping [***] called me on a Sunday at 8:45AM, fortunately I didn't hear it and wake up, so I missed the call. As per usual, voicemail talking about lowering my interest rates to 6%, even though I have no credit card debt and have not had any for years and my credit rating is astronomical (and has been for years).
I agree with others, there is no way this is legit, they would never call someone like me. I assume it is a phishing attempt.
