These people need to stop calling people that are on the DNC list. I do not answer since I don't know anyone in Washington state and it goes to my voicemail; either way they know I have an "active" cell since my voicemail picks up the call. UGH, I got a call from this # 360-474-3989 around 1 pm today and the same time on Thursday. Yesterday I got the same call around 7:50 pm last night from # 253-382-9987 and googled both of these numbers (once again: never answered the calls) and found this forum for both numbers. I reported both numbers to the FTC last night.
If your voicemail picks up they know they have a "valid home or cell number". I don't answer these fools, it goes to my voicemail, and they still keep calling. Damned if you do and damned if you don't either way, it's annoying and rude for them to call.
I returned a text requesting my cell number to be removed and if they want to continue calling, please leave a billing address so I can bill them for the minutes they are using on my cell phone.
