Received call from a robot caller that gave the number (360) 474-4244 to call as it was my final notice from the IRS before litigation ensues. Phone number identified as being from Marysville, WA. Most likely a scam so I didn't call back.
automated message says, "to get more information about this case file, please call immediately on out department number 360-474-4244... Thank you"
I called, was linked to a man with heavy middle eastern accent. He told me that the IRS was moving forward in a lawsuit against me, after auditing my taxes from 2009-2013, and found that I have outstanding balance of $8,500 unpaid. He went as far as to state that they placed a yellow slip on my front door, and gave me a date (he referred to the person that placed the slip as his case worker). When I asked for more information, he transferred me to his "case manager". At this point the man could only offer me vague information, gave me a presumed phony case file number, as well identified himself as Peter Blake ID# IRM6166. I of course was given 2 options. 1. hire a lawyer if I wished to fight the IRS in court. 2. Pay the amount today. When I asked the man for more information again, he continued to offer me those two options. eventually he hung up on me. I called the number back again, with different phone, there was no answer.
Same as above reports. Also, when I asked for additional info about me to prove this wasn't a scam, he told me to go to a candy store, buy a lollipop, stick it you know where and then lick it. I suggested he ask his mother to change his diaper, and hung up.
I called a few times just to hear a scam for my self.. then I asked him why is he lying then he hung up.. I called back a woman answered and had a absolutely dirty mouth. .it was hot I guess Cuz she had a accent. . But it proved it's not the a IRS..
