Received the same phone calls. they are scams & bogus. IRS never leaves messages or computer generated calls. They use old school methods of US Postal service & letters, normally registered letters. They have to, to document their files. Also if they would call they would never give a number like the one they tell you to call in these computerized things. The give 800#s.
Recorded message stating a filed lawsuit against me. 2 in same day. I called the number back, a man with middle eastern accent answered with "hello internal revenue service ". He wanted me to verify my address, I told him I did not believe him then he said I was wasting his time and terminated the call as I was telling him I was going to report him.
Several calls yesterday from this number, woman left VM stating we have to call immediately regarding pending claim against us. She failed to identify herself or who the suit was from & caller ID showed Unknown, I did not call back. Don't fall for this [***], block call if you can.
I received 2 telephone messages stating that this was a final notice regarding a lawsuit filed by the IRS. Both calls were a recorded message. The IRS never uses a computer generated call to tell you about lawsuit. They only mail letters concerning any legal matter. Any legal and viable company will document (have paper trails) for their cases. These calls are bogus and do not give them any information.
360-474-4992 , 9/25 , 11:14a.m. - Caller I.D shows "UNKNOWN CALLER" . A recorded message states I'm being sued by the IRS and I should call this same number to receive more about this file. I think if the IRS, is going to sue me they will be sending me a formal letter in the mail, and not leaving a voice message on my phone. This number is going on my block list
