i got a call from this number three times in two minutes but didn't hear my phone ringing so i called back and it had a in use or busy beeping noise so i tried again five minutes later but it was the same.
Yep... definitely calling numbers randomly. Got a call on my secondary cell and on an unused home # in the same day. Neither phone is connected in any way to the other, vendors, etc. I accidently picked up the cell because they called super early. There was a *lot* of static and it almost had the sound of a fax machine, but much more grating, noisy, screechy. And, there was a voice speaking under all that racket, but I didn't catch what was said. I quickly hung up because depending on where the call is coming from, they can charge exorbitant amounts of money to your phone if you say something like "yes" or accidently hit a button and they retrieve the tone for "yes."
Just got a call from this number yesterday and again today, about a minute ago. Phone rings, i answer with "Hello" and get silence. Then it hangs up. Number is now blocked =)
