Just got a call from them... took me 20 mins to explain I was not who they were calling for, but the gist of the call is they bought a collection account from like 8 or 10 years ago that someone did not pay and they are trying to scare money out of people. And, any debt that old is not valid. It is just another scam.
And they used two different company names while yelling at me on the phone, DRS and Midland Finance. And I was not even the person they were calling for.
this number is a collection agency that starts out wanting to speak to someone about a job they applied for. they're fishing. the caller identified herself as kirsten taylor from drc but refused to define what drc meant.
They are a scam. They break the state laws, do not update your account to receive proof that this is actually your debt and are just willing to take your info over the phone without knowing why. SCAM
