This is a call from "The Daily Jackpot". They say you've signed up through one of their online partners (They wont say which one) to win $25,000. The first thing said is this is on a recorded line, then Nicole (I believe) starts talking. However its not really a person, it's pre-scripted verbiage...honestly it's fascinating how lifelike it sounds. I tried to foul her up with asking questions. I sit next to a computer all day, if i get a call from someone I don't know i instantly Google the number. Found similar stories. I believe the purpose of the call is to get you to say "YES" to speaking with a "rep". You say yes, and it grants "them" permission to continue to call you. Fortunately i advised i did not wish to receive calls and the scripted verbiage advised they would remove my number. The script was polite. Google "The Daily Jackpot". See their privacy policy....specifically section 5 here http://www.thedailyjackpot.com/Privacy. If something sounds too good to be true (like you winning 25K when you didn't sign up for anything) it probably is.
