My father passed away May 26, 2011 this foreign calls and ask for him as soon as I say he is deceased she hangs up she called like 3 times today and on the average at a dozen times a month if not more. I am trying to deal with my mother and her ill health until this is about to make me sick. When I call the number back I get the message that the phone line is no longer in use.
They call from this number and others, early in the morning and often several times a day, with some disconnects. I ask them not to call anymore, but they still do over and over again!
They are asking for someone who does not live here and I tell them that, but they still call.
I called the Federal Trade Commission and filed a complaint (as requested by the phone company) it took less than 10 minutes (mostly cause I was complaining) and she advised me that they track these patterns/complaints. The more we call and complain the more likely the federal government will investigate.
