I am sick and tired of these people calling my husband. It is to the point when I answer they hangup. Seems like harassment to me...How can I make it stop?
Got a hone call from 360-529-614 at 6:32 a.m. On Sat. March 17th. My wife was awaken from a deep sleep to answer it thinking perhaps it were a call about or from her ageing parents. when she saw tht the caller ID said "Diabetic Supplies" she did not answer. Primarily because in America it is illegal and criminal to make business calls prior to 9:00am unless you initiated an earlier apporval to do so.
Additionally we get calls from "unknown number - from 000-000-0000"..... ditto; same information about diabetic supplies, with annoying background noises as if there are multiple children squawking. Or they call and as soon as you pick up your receiver they hangup from there end of the line with no conversation. Like others, I may have to get rid of all phones to be secure again.
Same problem with the company calling my home for my dad who is on Medicare. We got 6 calls Saturday starting at 8:30 am and they even called Sunday!!!! I have gotten nasty with them and they still call. A rep told me today that in order for them to stop calling me I just need to get a glucose meter from them. I am livid. Can't Dateline or 20/20 do a story on them to get them to leave elderly people alone and stop harrassing them in their own home?
Over a year of non stop calling and harrassment against those who dont even know how to ask for help. Multiple calls a day. Fake supervisor transfer. Please stop him. I will to testify.
