Called me 3 times so I finally looked it up and end here.

For those of you with Android and IPhones, look up call blocker apps.I use CallFilter by Telemarks but there a dozens out there (I like callfilter since it can block whole area codes)
I get SEVERAL calls from this number every day. Yes, I realize it's a telemarketer, but for this "computer" to call my number 5 to 6 times per day is harassment! I did finally call the number back, and was advised (by another recording) to press "1" to be placed on their "Do Not Call" list, which I did. Supposedly, after 24 hours, the calls will cease. We shall see.
Believe me, I can absolutely understand your frustration, but do you really think it's necessary to call someone an idiot? It's possible that person misunderstood the name of the company.
Everyone wonders why the world is the way it is these days. It IS possible to get your point across while being polite, which you were until the "idiot" comment. Be nice, please :0)
They have been calling me about every hour during the day for the past week or two.
My answering machine answers and they wait and hang up.
But I see many here indicate it starts with the message: "This is James from Family Home Protection, how are you today?"
I used to get the robo calls from "James" a few months ago. He called for about 4 months - sometimes every other day, other times several times a day.
I endured it hoping they would give up. They did but if this is the same group, they are at it again minus "James".
I have not added myself to the "Do Not Call" registry because I am concerned it is just a way to identify good numbers that unscrupulous businesses would simply call hoping to get away with it.
I think that is why people on the list say they still get called.
I also will not go through the caller's process to "be removed" because I think that simply validates you are a good number. If they can't sell YOU something, they will sell your good number to another unscrupulous business that will pound you again.
That said, having my answering machine on sort of validates the number has someone behind it but my silence has had an effect. I first got the number a couple years ago and was getting called all day from everything from bill collectors to marketers. Eventually, I could tell who the legitimate businesses were from their messages and answered them to inform them they have the wrong person. That killed a bunch. Then the others I just waited on. I had just about reached silence until this number cranked up last week.
It is a shame that lawmakers won't shut this down. Its like being forced to allow a salesman in your front door and you can't get him hauled off even if he keeps knocking on your door.
Called them at the number given below for frontline 321-729-6462. They said they do not even service VA. She said she would removed me from the list. We will see...
