Called me 3 times so I finally looked it up and end here.
Added to my block filter
For those of you with Android and IPhones, look up call blocker apps.I use CallFilter by Telemarks but there a dozens out there (I like callfilter since it can block whole area codes)
I called back the number and received a recording saying if I do not want future calls to enter "1" and be added to their do not call list. We'll see. This worked with another "reduce interest rates on credit cards" spam caller. Have not received calls from them since doing that. Of course, they should not be doing this in the first place since I'm on the federal dnc list.
Called the number back and a recording said to press "1" if I want to be added to their do not call list (allow 24 hours). This worked for another spam caller, that well documented "reduce the interest on credit cards" company. Haven't received calls from them since doing that. So I'm hopeful, but we'll see. Of course, they shouldn't be calling in the first place since my number is on the federal dnc list. But I'll take a resolution any way I can get it.
I have received two calls a day from this number, for the last 4 days. No message left. I refuse to pay extra to att for call blocking, I will just continue to ignore them.
I never knew I could block numbers that way. This damn number has called me 4 times today alone. I click 'end' on my cell phone to stop the incoming calls.
I never had these "home security" calls until I requested maintenance service from Sears for my washing machine. During the call to schedule the appointment, the service rep asked me if I would like a quote on a home security system or new windows. Told him "no" - that I didn't need them because I had a brand new home. I gave the rep my cell number for the service tech to contact me at work (1/2 mile from my home) on the day of service. Since then ..... I've been getting these DAMN ANNOYING calls on my cell !!
