Just got a call from this number. I've stopped complaining to the FTC and FCC. I know complain to my Congressman and Senators in Washington, DC.
I demand that automatic dialing machines be banned. All these irritating calls are only possible because of automatic dialers. They need to be banned.
I also complain to my local phone company even though they're not responsible. These calls could be stopped if phone companies wanted create the technology.
Finally, if you have any kind of selective ringing, set your phone so that it only rings for numbers you enter into it's memory.
Got a call from this number said they were with Senior Living Care and it was not a sales call. They said they had an offer for any seniors living in my household. I told them I had none and they said thank you and hung up. Added the number to my Do Not Answer contact on my phone in case they call again.
Man calls me once a day.Indian accent. Asks me a question and I yell at him "HOW DID YOU GET MY NUMBER?!" and he says, "okay." and hangs up on me. It must be a machine because if it were a real guy, wouldn't he start to catch on that I'm yelling the exact same thing every time?
I received a call from this number. No introduction beyond "This is Kate with Senior Care, do you have anyone in your home over the age of 65. We are not a telemarketer". I stopped her immediately and said, " so a stranger calls you and starts asking personal questions like Do you have children in your home, do you make over xxxx household income, and you never called this person in the first place. What would you think? She laughed and then hung up.
