Someone named Christopher called looking for (Owner Name). When asked what it was regarding, he kept repeating (Owner Name). He wouldn't say what it was regarding more than it was a civil matter. The company was something like the Washington State Police Fund blah blah blah. When asked if we could take a message, they said they would call back and hung up. The call came from Silverdale.
Caller ID said UNKNOWN NAME (clue number one that I don't want to talk to them). A man named Jason (?) Abbott asked if [business owner by first name] was still there. We've had a lot of those calls lately, they want you to think they just got off the phone with him. When asked if he'd like to make an appointment he hung up. BLOCKED.
Called again, got through our call blocker (spoofed number maybe?). He said, “Is [owner first name] still there?” I asked who was calling. He said, “This is Curt Abbott, would you like me to hold?” I asked if he’d spoken to [owner] (since he asked if "still" there), he said no. I asked what it was regarding, he said this is something Adventure (????), then asked again if [owner] was here. I said, but what is this REGARDING?? He said (testily) “It’s a civic matter, not a business one.” I said “Please don’t call here again” and hung up. RE-BLOCKED.
The caller asked for some one who is not here. Told her there was no one here by that name. She said her name was Rebecca and she was calling for the Silverdale Washington Out Reach Program. She said she must have gotten the wrong number by mistake.

Definitely a SPOOFED number because they got through my call blocker AGAIN. Almost word for word the conversation I reported here on 4/7/15, except this time he said his name was Phil something, "would you like me to hold?" Once again I told them not to call again and hung up.
From the comments above, I'm pretty sure this is one of those fraudulent solicitations for charities things. If they mention police they are usually doing a "fund raiser" and the agency they name drop gets an extremely miniscule amount of the funds raised.
