Received a call from this number. Woman identified herself as from CA Concepts. Asked if I was "the wife." I refused to answer any questions and hung up. Some male voices in background. I see that other people who answered from this number think this is an escort service. Members of our family would never use such a service! Has all the earmarks of a scam.
These people are relentless. They claim to be conducting an environment/health survey and proceed to ask very benign questions, congratulating you for being a non-smoker or for not having seasonal allergies. (I was also asked if I am "the wife"). I participated as I was told it would take 30 seconds, which it did; but at the end they slide in that some of their participants receive prizes, and that they will re-contact me if I win. This is when I remembered that my husband has fallen prey to these people before, and once they have you, they will not let go. I don't know if this is an escort service or not, but something scammy is up, because they will NOT let you not select a prize. They call day and night trying to get him to commit to something. I refused to let her hang up before having her agree to remove me from their list. We'll see.
I got a call from this number a lady asked to speak to some one who doesn't reside here..I told her she must have the wrong number..She then called right back and I told her again you have the wrong number.. She called back again..and I shouldn't of answered it but by this time I was getting a little upset...she said " Are you sure so and so doesn't live here because he just gave me this number stupid". and she hung up!!! Ohhhhhhh wish I could of reached through the phone!!! Rude people!!
Someone from that (360-539-1743) number has called my home number every day or so for the last week and a half, asking for my husband, despite the fact that I've asked them to not call back. The first time, the woman said she was calling for the Census Bureau and asked which stores in our community do we spent our money the most. I said we gave the Census Bureau all the information they needed when they visited our home last year, and I didn't think it was any of their business where we shopped. And she asked me to participate anyway, since it might benefit others. I said no. She was getting really frustrated and started shouting at me. She said it was for the government and I can't say no to them. I said oh yes I can, and I said if the Census Bureau needed anymore information from us, they could mail the survey to us since they have our home address. And I hung up. She called back a second and third time. I hung up each time. The next day, the caller (asking for my husband again) said she was calling for a marketing firm conducting a consumer suvery, and I said my husband doesn't participate in suveys, and I hung up. She called again and asked if I was "the wife", and she said I would do. She then asked me to take the survey so she should send me coupons. I said I wasnted interested and do not call back, and I hung up. She called again a third time, but I didn't answer and just let the phone ring. She didn't leave a voice mail, so she obviously gave in and hung up before the call went to voice mail. But like I said, this has gone on every day or two for more than a week now. Then, a woman called again from that number yesterday asking for my husband. (Same thing....I would do, etc). She said she wanted me to take a brief survey of 30 seconds about my spending habits. I said no, and hung up. She called again, so I started shouting at her and hung up. Then I proceeded to file a Nuisance Phone Call report with the county sheriff, and they accepted my report and will be investigating that company.
