just got a from them, automated recording starts with a loud horn of a ship and then says I can get two cruise tickets for answering a few questions. According to www.fonefinder.net this is a Verizon number. Based on this page: http://www22.verizon.com/Support/Residential/ ... neral/95622.htm
you can file a complaint by calling the Verizon Unlawful Call Center at
1-800-257-2969, Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m
Just got a call from the number. I didn't answer because I didn't know the number. No voicemail was left. Tried calling back after reading this and all I get is a busy signal.
Update, I tried to make a report to Verizon, and they said their caller ID can be spoofed with a computer, so they can make it look like any number, even my own, so there is nothing they can do, and they add Congress passed a law last year that allow robo-calling cell phones (Mobile Information Call Act?). So this is apparently all a waste of all the people's time & money, and it is legal. Trying to find out who they are and what is they real contact phone number. If they call me again, I'll try to get that info.
