If you get a call from these fraudsters just start laughing loud and long on the phone. Believe me they will quickly get the message. It's an irs scam it's all over the news.don't fall for their scare tactics.
Got calls from 360-566-2416 and 202-492-8625 saying they were IRS and filing a lawsuit and I had to call them back immediately. I did not. You can go on the gov IRS website and file a complaint against these people. At the top of this page is a place where you an put the number that called you (put in the 202 number and scroll down on the comments. There is one from a retired IRS guy who give you a website to go to to log your complaint. REMEMBER, DO NOT CALL THESE NUMBERS BACK!!!!!!!!!!
Just received a call from this number claiming to be the IRS and that I was being audited (first call was a robot voicemail message). I called back inquiring about the "case". Spoke to a man with an Indian accent named Daniel Bryan and then with an "officer" Gary Wilson who at first had an american accent which gradually shifted back to an Indian accent. They said that they had sent two notices before and sent an officer to my house who had left a note (clearly I never received any of these). They said if I did not resolve this right now over the phone an officer will be sent to my home in 45 minutes to arrest me and hold me for 48 hours in jail. That they will seize my property, assets and drivers license. My oh my... what a way to wake up on a Saturday morning!
