Called and asked to speak to my mother about her home. Call was unsolicited by my mother and when I pressed him why he was calling he said it was about her home. I told him we were not interested, he said "well look buddy I really need to talk to your mom, I'll call back later". I told him I'd report him and that he'd better not call back.
RTC called today asking me questions about my home. When I asked him how he got my information, he stated he got our number from a new homeowners list. Sound legit enough, although I did not appreciate the unsolicited call from a telemarketer who continued to ask question after question about our home without stating his pursose for calling! I would have understood a bit more if his tack wasn't as "dirty." Starting off by stating the purpose for his call would have been a more appropriate way to begin; but hey, it was a telemarketer - what should I expect?
