Recording states the man is with the IRS, leaves a case number and call back "hotline" number to his desk. Says I need to call him regarding criminal charges they are filing. If he doesn't get a call back from me or a letter from my attorney I'll be in big trouble. hahaha! Blocked the number. Caller ID says the call is coming from Aberdeen.
I answered the call from the number and the person on the other end said she was from LCN and was calling on behalf of an insurance agent to provide a quote. She then rattled off my home address saying she wneeded to verify. On further questioning of this person she also said they call on behalf of finance companies. I hung up the phone and called back the "360" number and the recorded answering machine comes back to "Insurance Express". I looked them up on the internet and what they do is provide leads to their clients for people who are "serious" about getting a better quote on their insurance. Funny thing is I have no interest in getting a better quote. The 800 number given on their webpage only rings - no answer. On further note I found a refrence to Insurance express with Better Business Bureau. They have a "F" rating.
