Robo call with a man's voice saying he is calling from the IRS and threatening a lawsuit. I know how the IRS works.
They contact you in writing and even though most are a-- holes, they do not threaten to bring a lawsuit on the initial phone call that you have no specifics about why they are calling. Wish it could be traced and these people or persons arrested.
Got a call from this number , a male voice left a message saying he was from the IRS and there was a lawsuit against me. I called the number back, spoke with " Officer Jeffery Parker" , never gave him my name or phone number , however he called me by name and stated that I owed back taxes in the amount of $2000.00. I asked for a badge number , he stated it was " IRSM..... " . I asked him what year was in question and he stated " this one - 2015 to 2016 ". When I said I would contact the IRS myself , he hung up. I called that number again because I wanted to know in depth how they got my contact information . THis time I spoke with " Officer Joe " . I kept inquiring about how they got my contact info. over and over and over. He asked me why was I asking the same question over and over , then called out my name and stated that he was the same state ( Ga. ) that I am in . He finally told me " your boyfriend gave it to us , He snitched on you . Ha !! Ha !!! " . Really ??? I inquired about the name of that " boyfriend " and did not get an answer. When I mentioned since he was in Ga. , I can track him through GPS , he hung up. Who are these people ? How can we trace their phone calls ? They state American names but have an accent.
Got a call from this company stating they were with the IRS. Everybody knows that the IRS will never call you, they will send correspondence in the mail. I asked him how did he get my number and he never answered, I told him that he wasn't with the IRS and that it was a scam. He then stated "if this a scam then hang up"", which I did and I blocked there number. But they will keep calling but from different numbers
