This is a call from Linda Green who is part of the group with Logic Works, who then turned me over to Tanya or Tonya Smith (who said she was a financial consultant). She said that they would get my interest rates down to at least 6.99% or a little above. I was pretty uneasy about giving them any information and called a credit card debit relief group here, and they said that that was along the lines of what they do but they didn't know about this company. Linda Green just told me they were a credit card service company, so I didn't have the Logic Works name until that's what they said would appear on my bank account. They did not get anything more accomplished than what I had done already a few months earlier as far as getting the rates lowered, other than getting two of the accounts transferred to another credit card at the promotional zero rate for a period of one year. This I could have done with the credit card checks that the credit card company sent me. I realized this after we hung up. So yes I fell for the scam. They also gave me the customer service number 877-868-5460. Linda Green's said her ext # is 814 and Tonya said her's was ext.#805. I have not tried to call them as I wanted make sure we actually talked to my credit card companies to make sure it wasn't a scam all the way round (meaning that we weren't talking to someone in this company each time when we were supposed to be talking to someone from the credit card companies).
I got called from the same number but he said he was from CARE NET. That was the name that would appear on my card. I went along, but after I closed each card, One card company alerted the credit score companies. I didn't call them back to tell them I cancelled they will not get the "fee".K
I lead these [***] down the garden path and gave them the Okie Dokie long enough to verify their credentials with Card Member Services. BTW: This is how they announced themselves as, representative of Cardmember Services. My credit card company told me that if it were a legitimate offer from Cardmember Services it would have come through the mail, Not Over The Phone. I have names and numbers they are as follows; Initial contact from an East Indian man that calls himself Son or Suun 360-633-9052 The hook is Bill Baker 866-505-6695 there is also a woman names Rachel. As is usual with scams it sounded too good to be true. They even gave me a recording of the conversation # 1141295 Bottom line, I canceled my current card and arranged for a replacement through Cardmember Services to assure they wouldn't have access to my accounts. Additionally, I have reported them not only to Cardmember Services but, The Attorney Generals Office. I hope they read these comments and come to realize they have [***] the wrong Marine.
