Yes, probably same scammers with another scam! Ignore calls or block numbers through your phone service (if offered) or purchase a blocking device. I have a Digitone call blocker, but it only blocks 80 numbers. I'm already past that number and must purchase another device that will block 1,500 numbers. I received a call from this number, and of course, no message was left. The Do Not Call List is only used by legal businesses. These scammers do not care and totally ignore that list, so being on the Do Not Call List means nothing to these idiots!!!
Hi K
Not sure if you thought of it or not,or if your call blocking device will let you do it but , I have a phone that let's me block 20 calls and what I do is go thru the blocked calls list about every 6 months and delete the ones on the list that finally gave up calling. May be will save you a little money, if you'r blocking device will let you delete old ones.
Good luck

The usual. I recognize this number as one of the regulars.
My Caller ID works even if the answering machine is turned off, so I've been turning it off when I'm home and I can monitor Caller ID. Unwanted calls just ring until they hang up. I figure that everyone has an answering machine and leaves it on, right? Well I don't any more and I'm hoping it confuses them. So far I seem to be getting fewer unwanted calls.
