I called the number and received an automated message saying roughly "Thank you for calling back. If you would not like to hear about our promotions and would like to be placed on our do not call list, press 1". It didn't provide any identifying information about who they were or what they were calling about.
Yes, me too. "press 1to receive pain medication.". Well., I did press 1and will take info I gleaned to my state atty general as well as my insurance provider. Though the area code is from WA, the scammer I spoke with says he represents " American Pain Relief" from Miami Florida. He refused to give me a street or mailing address. When I insisted on having one he said that the call must be brief because so many Americans are in pain. ( Yeah. For real. That's what he said. Like giving a street address takes so much time.).
Got the pain pill message. Some elderly gentleman. I was quite rude to him demanding to be taken off of any list.
What was weird is I have NO caller ID for this. On none of my phones. But when I used *69 it came up with the info on the number.
Calling the number back gets a recorded message about removing your number from their list. But you cannot navigate to anything on that number, just hit 1 to remove from the list
