Jack--good feedback. you think there is something you can do to protect yourself only to find out with auto dialers--you're eventually going to get a call. They just called me but did not leave a message...sick.
360-640-8582 - When I answered, a recorded message w/ a man's voice said that if i took a opinion survey that i would get two free tickets to the Bahamas. I did not take the pole and I did not get to an operator. When I called the number back I got a fast, busy signal, like it was an invalid phone number. Reported to National DNC Registry.
This was a cruise-themed recorded survey. I wanted answers so I took the ten question survey-random questions that were ridiculous and seeming to be quite unrelated to cruises- and then was directed to an operator. I interviewed him, he said that they were a info collecting agency- Something Solutions?- and that they were giving away the extra tickets for cruises for people to take the survey. I asked where they got my number, and he said that my number was randomly selected. I do not believe this, because I recently became engaged and that was quite a coincidence. I asked where the cruises were going, and he said the Bahamas. When I told him that I am uncomfortable with him calling and didn't want the cruise but "wanted information about them", he seemed confused. Silly. *Sigh*
