Got a call from this number too. Left partial message saying I'm being sued by the IRS and no further information other than call them back at this number.
Didn't say anything about IRS, or suing me in the voicemail, just asked me to call back concerning a case #. I called back and as soon as the person answered: "Internal Revenue Service" (in a very thick and almost non-understandable accent) I hung up. I know I have no issues with the IRS. I hope others will be as wise to this scam. It has been all over the news. Don't fall for it people!!
Same here. Just listened to the VM. Called back just to see who would answer. The person didn't even speak English. And Washington State is not where a national IRS iffice is even located.
