Got a text from this number under the name John Cidar. I had replied to him via Craigslist for a house. Across the street neighbors said it was a scam.

place in mission viejo i dont know but this is the same number how do i check if its real he gave me and adress and everything with pictures also want a security deposit before he sends keys he says he works and lives in oklahoma ahhhh
He tried to do the same thing in Long Beach. First thing I noticed was his inability to spell, second was asking for the deposit before seeing it. Also why would anyone living in another state try and rent his own propery without the use of a property manager. seemed fishy from the start but it was a nice house and we were hoping for the best.
This guy is currently trying to rent a house in Burbank. He used the name Carl D Savage. He said he would send keys once I sent the deposit. He didn't answer any of my questions, his english was very bad, and the deposit and rent were very low for the area. Sounds like the same guy as mentioned about.
