My cell rang at 8:12pm. The caller declared that my phone just rang 911 and they were checking to see that I was okay. I asked them how my phone could have called them. They stated that it happens all the time. After the call ended, I checked my outgoing call records. There was no call to 911. Checking my incoming call records showed that the call had come from 360-750-1250. It appears that someone using phone number 360-750-1250 is impersonating 911 employees.
phone number is government owned landline number associated to dispatch/911. likely indicating you're on a 3 way conversation with dispatch and an officer. http://www.cresa911.org/
This is the landline for 911 dispatch. Apparently my 4 year old, whom we just recently taught how to call 911, decided to call 911. They called back to make sure everything was ok.
