I got a call from Marty micheals, stating I owe for Manhattan financial. That I owe 510 dollars but they are willi.g to settle for 370$. Otherwise, he will sue me for his client.....
This guy has repeatedly called my work saying that he was trying to collect on a payday load that I never took out. He claims that I wrote a check that bounced and to save a court date I can pay him with my credit card at a reduced payment. He told me his mane is Officer Michaels. I told him to prove to me this debt was mine with the transaction docs. I have asked him not to contact me at my work but he continues to do so.
I got a call just 10 minutes ago from marty michaels saying that I owe from a payday loan that I know damn well I paid out. Her started making threats of check fraud and the sheriffs department. I said I am the sheriffs department. The information on me was outdated and he eased up after I told him where I worked. This isn't the first time either and I'm such of it. Even if this was true neither he nor his "client" could file a complaint because they weren't wronged the original place would have been. They could try too file a civil suit but that wouldn't include jail time just a dispute between two parties and a judge. He's on my [***] list now...
