i just got a call from this number and since I don't know it, I didn't pick up. They left a voicemail saying they were the IRS and that I needed to get back with them because there's a lawsuit against me. Guess what, not falling for that scam
As the everyone else has stated, claimed to be from ... IRS which is filing a lawsuit against me. Final warning. Call back to their number. Couple of clues to a bogus call, 1) Msg started in mid sentence and sounded choppy, 2) No name was given to contact, 3) No name was given to whom they were calling, 4) No case number was provided. A check thru the call log reveled that the same number given to call back to was the same number that called and the number was listed as a cell phone, not an IRS office number.
