Found I started getting these kind of calls when I started searching for healthcare options and med discounts. Also when I registered for publisher clearing house prize. I think your number is sold onto a list as a potential sales contact.
Called my cell phone, which only family members have my number. No idea how they got my number or why they keep calling. If they were for real they would call my home phone but they never do!!
