The call didn't leave a name of the person the call was for or a case number to reference case number.

Random call saying I am in trouble and that I should call back to discuss the file against me.

It appears I'm being sued by the IRS as well. The voice sounded like a machine-generated woman's voice.

An answering machine with a woman's voice saying that I'm being sued by the IRS and need to call back that number. I hanged up because I knew this was a scam.
