I have received two calls from this number in the last 2 days saying that there is a criminal investigation by the IRS against me and that I have to call immediately to avoid prosecution against me. When you call back it sounds like a calling center, when I called the guy asked me to turn off the speaker and when I didn't comply, he hang up on me and before he did he called me "[***]", then I called again this guy that claimed to be officer Michael Brown. He said that I am under federal investigation, due to mis-calculation payments on my income taxes from 2008 to 2014. When I told him that I knew this was a hoax and they were lying and stealing from people, the guy threaten me that he was going to come to my house and "f" me and some other obscene words I don't want to repeat here.
Got a call from the number and declined. They left automated voice message that it was urgent I call them at this number. Deleted message and blocked number. ITS A SCAM!!!!
I have been retired from a "Fortune 500" Company for 14 years, In my past experience with that company, I dealt with the IRS on a yearly basis...They would never, never, ever call and say you owe then money immediately. My company has had issues that amounted to Millions of dollars with the IRS, and they never...never...never...never...said you have to settle immediately. If these "[***] HOLES", call, just tell them you are on to them and, then you should file a report about them and their phone number(s), immediately with your state Attorney's General Office for future litigation. You only have to go online to file with your state's Attorney General's Office.
