Got a call from this number saying they work for a law firm and I have an outstandingbalance on a loan, I need to get an attorney and yada yada yada. Go 4ake a short walk off the bridge [***].
An Indian man called me saying he was from that law firm and that they were going to serve me and I was going to jail. Said I owed almost 900$ today or they would serve me.
I see I'm not the first to complain, I'd applied for a loan through what I thought was a secure web site, when I got thousands of calls from people that couldn't even speak English well enough for me to understand them I refused to take any of them because I refuse to knowingly help anyone of the Middle Eastern persuasion that isn't Jewish at least. Then I get a call from a "law firm" saying I had stolen by deception, that's when I cut them off and a reverse phone look up got me here. They did have my correct SSN, which bothers me. I'll never again apply online for anything even if it does say secure. Scams are the thing of the day I guess.
I filed a report with my State's AG on them. It's a total scam. It also looks as though they have used several different numbers to try to perpetrate this. PLEASE report them to the Washington State AG. The more reports they get, the more likely they will be to investigate.
