Answered the ad in the local paper. Was hired instantly supposedly. I filled out the paper work, even though I had a bad feeling. Worked for 3 days for them and then a deposit showed up in my account for $499. Some guy walked into a bank with my account number, wrote a personal check to me with my account number on it. The Fex Corporation asked me to wire money to Florida to some lady. I went to the bank and to the police. This is a SCAM! The check bounced on the next business day after opening new accounts, redo'ing our lives! DON'T FALL FOR THIS!
After looking for a job online, I was contacted by them saying I was hired. They wanted me to go to Staples to get computer pricing. They said it was to see how I could follow directions for a shipping and receiving position. I did not give them ANY bank info!! Couldn't find them on the BBB either! Be careful everyone---these [***] are preying on honest people looking for work!!
we also got a call on this from a job application through Careerbuilder. They had me do tasks, and told me I was hired, though I never interviewed with anyone. I had no contact information other than an email address. Then I was told I **HAD** to do direct deposit, and send it in even though I had never gone to a physical address for the job. Then they put $500 in my account, and told me to end $400 to Mexico, and the other $100 was for me.
I've put a stop on my account so they cannot take anything out, but be warned if you get a job offer from them.
Pretty shady to scam people in need of work. Take a special person to be that much of a scum-bag.
After sending them a resume in response to a help wanted ad in the newspaper, I got a call from someone, saying I had gotten the job, had to fill out the online application, along with bank information. Little hairs stood up on the back of my neck. Their web site claims they were in business for 18 years, but the DNS records said their web site went up just last week. Feb 9. This is a scam, plain and simple.
