This number is Celebrity Foods, calling for International Children's Network. They should identify themselves in exactly that way, as they do have a legitimate business relationship with ICN. They donate a straight percentage of their sales directly from their bottom line, and their charitable donations are very important to ICN.
The policy at Celebrity Foods is to immediately delete anyone who requests removal from their call lists. That didn't happen immediately in my case for some reason and I got repeat calls, but subsequently spoke directly with their management and they were happy to fix the problem.
Please call their Regional Manager Michelle Williams directly at 888-472-0262 with any questions or concerns about calls from this number. She's very professional and will ensure that any issues are resolved.
The name is that of a legitimate charity, but calls from this number are NOT affiliated with International Children's Network. Just spoke directly with ICN. A home delivery food company has been using their name to get people to talk to them. There have been a number of complaints and they've been trying to stop the calls.
Called the number back, it's listed in Orchards/ Vancouver, WA. A woman answered with "Hello", obviously at home, with a loud TV and children playing in the background. I asked who had called me, she said they were calling for International Children's Network and were collecting money for children in need via matching $ on shopping programs, then asked where I grocery shop and how many in my household. Told her and she said that they were "actually selling meat" and the minimum sale was for a family of four, so I didn't "qualify". The whole thing sounded bizarre. Asked her to take my number off the calling list and she said she would but apparently didn't, they called back again, which is when I called ICN.
