This one was saying i owed the IRS $892.00 and that i had 20 minutes to do a wire transfer to a Bank of America account or a warrant would be issued for my arrest for tax fraud, defrauding the IRS. They even claimed to have a agent from homeland security on the line with us.They said that if i didn't pay that the IRS would seize all of my bank accounts & property and that the fines would be $45,000.00 if i took it to court plus 5 years in jail!!!! I wrote down all of the names and numbers and got as much info as i could before i was cussed out and hung up on, I called the IRS and surprise no problems. I also called the Bank Of America to verify the account number and routing number and they were valid. I called the Attn. General, Home Land Security(Since there was an agent involved I.D.#14172012 Sam Anders), and the FTC. NO ONE CARED ABOUT DOING ANYTHING TO SHUT THESE SUCKERS DOWN!! That's our government protecting us, they said just don't give out any information and you should be fine. WHAT B.S.!!! How about fixing the problem and stopping this crap! Come on law enforcement get off your butts and stop this stuff!!
I got the same message on my voice mail saying it's my final notice from the irs. Try told me to call 360-967-4458. I will not. I added them to the reject list. Smh, the government are losers they can't stop this nonsense
Same thing - message saying we own the IRS and if we don't pay they, will sue. Called back from office phone instead of my own out of sheer curiosity. Got voice mail with accent saying to no one was available and leave a message. Left message saying "take a hike - bye, bye!" Sad thing is, they must get money from someone or they wouldn't keep trying. Scum buckets!
I got a call this afternoon, rather a recorded message telling me that there was a lawsuit against me and that I needed to call this same number right away. So....I called. The phone just rings and rings and rings. The recording did also say something in reference to the IRS, I didn't catch much of the actual recording but when I heard LAWSUIT...I'm like WTF. I'm glad I googled this number. You know it's tax time and there's a lot a various scams going on.....PEOPLE BE CAREFUL!!!!
Yep, that's the BS I heard but it was a recording stating that I needed to call the number I guess to avoid a lawsuit of some sort.....Keep in mind the past couple of years especially 2014 a lot of people were scammed for major maoney. It started with you owe $900 the next call is some BS about the $900 not covering the actual owed taxes and you're requested to pay a much larger amount.....[***], they can count me out! I'm not sending nothing... They can callLet's see if they can drive and present a badge face to face
Get these calls all the time. Just tell them they can contact your attorney and give them the number to CIA, FBI or Secret Service office. that really "get's their goat"!
