Its verizon, saying this number is a verizon number (i have sprint) and then its saying if im this person, to press 1. if im not (which im not) to press * and so i press * and they tell me to hold while they connect me, but no one is ever available to help me. ever. ive called back a ridiculous amount of times to get this resolved, but no one is available.
It's ONE of the many numbers for Verizon. Problem for me... I have NEVER had a Verizon acct. We have always had AT&T.
No one is at the numbers when you answer, and if you call, it says no rep is available.
This has been happening at least 10 times a day since January.
I have written to the headquarters, and am keeping a log of the all the calls.
Next stop is a lawyer.
A recent judgement against Time-Warner for the same amount of robo-calling was awarded $250,000.
I plan to go higher.
It would be appropriate to say that it's a debt collection / reminder / courtesy call under the client Verizon Wireless using deceptive and abusive call center tactics under a call center network involving CBE Group Inc and others. see http://www.bloomberg.com/profiles/companies/8202364Z:US-cbe-group-inc/the http://www.bbb.org/iowa/business-reviews/coll ... falls-ia-100794#
