Even though you didn't return their phone call or lose money to these criminals, it still can't hurt to report it to the TIGTA website at https://www.treasury.gov/tigta/contact_report_scam.shtml.
i got the same message from this number so i decided to investigate it it is truly BOGUS!!!! don't call back report it to the real IRS at 1 800 366 4484 or contact the federal trade commission go on the IRS website for more info.
