Caller ID says "Yoakum". They leave no message. They called 5 times spread out over the afternoon.
I checked out a number of other sites. This corresponds to a landline in Yoakum, TX. There were reports similar to that of "Johnnie O Starnes" in this thread. They leave no message and can't seem to be called back.
One poster on one site claimed it was hospice calling. If that's what this is, they are calling the wrong number; no one is on death's door here. I also believe hospice is done locally. Texas wouldn't call someone in Massachusetts to arrange services. Likely this is a SCAMMER who hopes to luck out and find someone needing hospice. Most likely they would then either obtain info (for identity theft) or sell (faux) services to someone in desperate need with little time to research the caller. People in this situation are often on powerful narcotics. Could this be a scam to obtain/steal this medication?
