Craigslist Scammer. Sent text claiming to be deaf and wanting to buy car for son. Mentioned Cashier's Check and Mover (CA to TX).

Messages saying he was deaf and buying car for son Max. Paying for shipments .Sent a $2500 check for a $1000 vehicle. Bank identified the check to be fraudulent written out of Illinois. Scanner used a reassuring "God Bless You" and changed their # to 1-908-378-8584
