Left a message on my cell phone. It was an American male voice recording about the Police and Fire Department and how we should support them. I am sure the recording and call is coming from Jamaca Man!
I've had 3 calls today, this one came on my cell phone with Texas id. Didn't answer. The other 2 from 626-699-4572 and 424-293-1097 came on landline with id "Security System."
My friend just texted me saying that this Texas number just called her and said that the local police and a fire department are monitoring her phone. We don't even live in Texas. So i told her I'd look up the phone number and it brought me here to this website.
I just got this call--refused to answer, no message. I live in Texas, but I have no connections in Corpus.
One thing I have noticed is that many of these scam calls come from numbers ending in three zeroes. I consider that a red flag, and I refuse to answer any calls from numbers ending in 000--even if they are from my area code.
I don't believe I have any legitimate contacts who have a 000 number, but if I do, hopefully they'll leave a message.
