They call just about every day. I just answer & hang up immediately without saying anything. They call back again the next day. I am eligible for Medicare this year which is probably why they are calling. More than likely trying to sell a Medicare plan of some sort.
I think they've called a few times. The line seems to be dead. I'll say hello a few times. Nadda. Finally I hit the buttons and play a little tune. Then carol comes on the line. I listen to her spiel and respond yes to the question about wanting more information. I wait until the salesman comes on the line. Then I play the same tune and hang up. For all these irritating calls I play along. Some I let last longer. It depends on my mood. I'm recovering from ankle surgery so my usual diversions I can't use to pass the time.
