I get these calls regularly. I never answer, and always block, but they've gotten wise even to a machine capable of blocking 1200 numbers. They just keep changing theirs. The #s are spoofed of course, and have become almost constant as this is not the only offender. I am seriously considering ripping out the home phone, as it has become more of an annoyance than a convenience. By the way, I am not a business and have never owned or been associated with one in any capacity. Someone is letting the consumer down in this area. I don't know if it's the phone company, State government or Federal government (stifles laugh here) but there has to be a way to stop the nonsense. Both State and Federal add taxes to our phone bills. They SHOULD care. Instead, no one cares and we, the consumers, pay for a service we are NOT receiving. DNC list is a joke and is ignored by all.
I have received calls from whoever this is daily for the last few weeks. Different number everyday (this one listed as Provo Utah today). Robocall saying "our local maps database..." press 1 to update your listing, press 2 to be removed from the list. I just hang up, because who knows what pressing 2 will do.
