This is a debt collection agency called Halsted Financial Services. THEY ARE A SCAM. I received a call from this so called debt collection agency. They informed me I had a outstanding bill with a Pasadena Hospital. They said the visit was back in 2009 may 10th. I googled the hospital name and found out it was in Florida and told them I have not been there since I was a little kid. Old enough to remember the whole trip I told them I never went to the hospital there. They insisted it had to be from when I went there as a child. So 18 so years later they are coming after me?
They insisted this bill be paid since its in my name. They did how ever have my date of birth and some how my last of my SSN. I told them I would run a credit report and call them back. They insisted that someone was using my identity. I pulled my credit report and nothing shows for the hospital or anything pending from the collection agency.
When I called them back they answered the phone and asked if I knew a Ricky White. I told them no and they said they would remove me off the call list. Um ok last time I called you you knew exactly who I was. Now you are acting like im calling for something else.
They will pressure you into paying this so called bill. They threatened it would be taken out of my pay checks. I told them to send me a bill to prove this debt. They said they have sent me many bills and I still yet have to see any of them.
Watch out for these guys and do not pay them a penny! No matter how much they bother you!
Caller ID shows up HSF. This is a scam and I will tell you why:
I keep getting calls for someone with the last name "Gardner." I have gotten a lot of collection calls for these people over the years, but I have NO clue who they are. I stayed on the line ready to speak with someone to get them to stop calling me and tell them they have the wrong number. This unintelligent "gentleman" answered the phone basically SHOUTING "HFS!" Dyslexic? Maybe. I thought it was HSF?! He doesn't give his name or ask how he could be of assistance. I told him I was getting calls for "Gardner" but it wasn't the right number. All this dumbA*$ said was "We'll look into it" and hung up. Seriously, at least SOUND like your a real collection agency. Moron.
Keep getting calls from this number...have for years! They are calling a division of Primary Childrens Hospital and they keep calling for Maria Lopez. We have told them repeatedly that she does not work here and asked them not to call back. They keep calling.
