This number has been on my ID countless times. Today I picked up. It was this automaton voice who wanted to ask me political questions. I was told it would take 10-15 minutes for the survey. I said, "Fine but keep the questions coming, I'm in a hurry." When I'd answer a question, they wanted me to quantify my answer. I was furious. I said, "Because that's how I feel, stop calling me." We'll see if it works but it sounded to me as though it's Obama's people wanting to hear how pleased I am with his leadership.
Call came in last night. I didn't pick up as there was no caller ID. If you answer these types of calls, you may want to have a whistle handy. Or you can try screaming at the top of your lungs for as long as you can into the phone. It is YOUR phone - there is no implied "right to call" for anyone.
