Been getting calls from this number twice a day. Pick up and no one there. I finally called the number back and it is Commonwealth Financial Services. The area code is for Provo/Salt Lake City, Utah. They also use a number of robo-call numbers including one in Maryland 410-220-0248. They are unscrupulous debt collectors based out of Pennsylvania. I have already reported them to the MD Attorney General's Office.
Trying to collect a relatively small bill from a doctor I've never heard of. These trolls are looking to collect on small amounts not owed just to get rid of them. I'm not that stupid, they'll just add me to a sucker list.
Thank you for this info. It was very helpful. I have cancer with a lot of medical bills already. The last thing I need is a bogus company saying I owe a fake medical bill. These people have no scruples and should be stripped of every penny they have.
