Call everyday, once a day in TX. Since there is no recourse or regulation on these people, I just start talking to them like a phone sex hotline! Lol watch me get regulated
After 6 times a day phone calls, I just picked up. Definitely foreign accents....said calling from Federal Finance looking for insurance agents. Politely, said I am not interested and get me off your "call 6-10 times a day phone call list".
It will be interesting to see if they finally stop. If they do, I recommend answer and be done with them.
If you guys have any type of financial items in collections that may be about to be removed from your credit report, be very wary...If they are calling asking if you are you and then hanging up after you acknowledge that you are, they may be a financial recovery company trying to make contact with you so that they can continue reporting to the credit agencies...After 7 years, these items are supposed to be dropped from your credit report...However, if you contact them or they contact and reach you about it, the 7 year reporting period starts all over again and that negative entry will continue to affect your credit rating...Just a heads up...
