Loud, pushy, woman with a spanish accent asked to "speak with the manager". Told her we are on DNC and to not call back then hung up. Guess what? She called back and I answered with "May I speak with the manager?". She hung up.
Called my number; didn't know my name; said he was from the federal financial group; believe that this is a scam; other recipients of calls from this number were told they were winners of prizes
Just had a call from this number. He wanted to speak with the owner of this phone number, I told him no.. He then wanted to talk to the head of the household. I told him no. He went into they will be in our area and. I will receive a $25 gift certificate. I asked who in the hell does he work for..... He said something to the effect about "Federal" something? His voice got louder in a sales pitch but stated that he was not selling anything. When I became very rude to him, he became very angry, Not like a true salesman or fund raiser who in his product. It was at this point that I believed I was dealing with a young scam artist (not well experienced).
Called our business VOIP line so I had to pick up even though I knew from the caller ID this was gonna be a junk call. After I did my introductory spiel, there were a few seconds of silence followed by a couple of women laughing on the line, then THEY hung up. If you're trying to scam people, you could at least try to be professional about it!
Federal Finance calling about a scratch card that I won. They call from many numbers. When I see their name on the ID I just ignore them or pick up and hang up. I have told them repeatedly not to call anymore.
