Just got a call from someone with a really strong accent and was really hard to understand. Said he we calling for the Federal Financial Group and that I had "won" a free scratch card. He asked me a few questions but nothing very personal and then wanted to set up a time for someone to come over.

Yeah, like that's going to happen! He did confirm the company name and said they were in UTAH.

I would report them to the DNC list but with the shutdown I can't! Posting here is the next best thing.

hang ups

I keep getting repeated calls from this # (385-229-3214). It shows up as "Federal Financing..." on the caller ID, although their voice-mail message says, "Thank you for caling IMF...". As they are easily recognizable as some sort of solicitous organization, I politely say, "no thank you" to their first inquiry and I hang up. This same scenario has played out several times over several months. I managed to call the # above and got a message giving me two options. Option one allows someone to add themselves to the "Do Not Call" list, which I did 3 to 4 weeks ago. At which time I was instructed to allow up to 72 hours for this request to process. The second option was to leave a message by pressing 3. When I pressed 3, I was disconnected during three subsequent attempts. 3 weeks later...low and behold! I got another call from them today! Today I was not so polite in my demanding that I be removed from their call list. I have again gone through the process to be added to the Do Not Call list.

silent pause for about 5 to ten seconds then a recorded voice says "goodbye" and disconnects the call!

Asian woman has called my businesss several times. I told her to stop calling me so she got mad and told me to "shut Up and called me uneducated" I wanted to give her a piece of my mind but she hung up on me.
